How to Trade
Quick start guide for collecting, valuing, and trading cards on WataSport
Browse public card values and team stats first. Register only when you are ready to trade, swap, sell, or build your collector profile.
1) Getting Started
- Browse Card Values to see today’s prices and daily change.
- Check Team Stats for rugby, cricket, and soccer rankings.
- Create your account when you’re ready to trade: Sign Up.
2) Building Your Album
- Add each card you own to your personal album when the collector profile tools are released.
- Cards show base value, signed value, and history at a glance.
- You’ll be able to mark cards as For Sale, For Swap, or Not Listed.
3) Trading, Selling & Auctions
- Sell: set a fixed price and go live to the marketplace.
- Auction: choose a start price and an end date/time. Highest bid wins.
- Swap/Trade: open a trade with another user; both sides confirm before finalising.
- Every deal will have a simple built-in message thread to agree terms and shipping.
4) Values & Pricing
- Each card has a live public value shown on the WataSport platform.
- Signed cards and special editions can carry a premium depending on the card range.
- Values display in multiple currencies for convenience, with ZAR used as the base.
5) Safety & Rules
- Only trade authentic and legally owned items.
- No abusive behaviour. Deals are cancelled if terms are not met.
- Keep delivery proof and communicate inside the deal chat.
